dusk at winter island


WATERCOLOR size 8x10 SOLD

Another painting of Winter Island Light, located off the North Shore. I love lighthouses, and how different each one is. At dusk, the coloring of the sky and water cast a great light onto an old rusty lighthouse. Original watercolor size 8x10

  1. I once read that lighthouses are America's castles, and this one is lovely! I like the loose way you painted the rocks below it. Very nice, Holly.

  2. Such a fun subject, well done...we have lighthouses here, where they are I have no idea, wait a minute, they are on the west coast of the island we are on the east.
