Belmont House - COMMISSION

WATERCOLOR size 10x12 SOLD-Commission

A painting commissioned by a realty company- I just found out this house was torn down last year; it's too bad...it was such a beautiful property.

  1. This painting is nice too. It is sad to see old buildings go away. You captured this one before it did.

  2. The house looks so beautiful, its a shame, what replaced it. This is a pleasing style for commercial work and a nice way to be able to paint.

  3. I don't understand why they tear down beautiful homes like this with so much character. Then they build those huge monster houses on the property. I'm glad you got to paint this one. Nice job on the shadows on the building.

  4. Thanks Terry, Ron and Joan. I agree, the houses with the most character are being replaced with 'cardboard cutouts'....kinda like the old music of the 70s..they just don't make em like that anymore!!
