winter drifts

I've been staring at this photo for a long time, and finally got up the courage to try it. I found it on Morguefile (by Irish_eyes) Size 8x10 on Fabriano paper...I was drawn to the crisp edges that can appear on the tops of snow drifts, made extra sharp by the wind.

    Holly, This is a nice one! The snow banks came out great, and the texture of the trees is nicely done.
