The depth of a forest, and what is beyond the trees I can see, has always fascinated me. I love to walk in the woods, and did so a lot as a kid, chasing rabbits in the winter, and looking for trillium and lady slippers. This one is size 13x8 on Fabriano.
I love this one! I can imagine small fairies back in that misty area. Good job!!
ReplyDeletethank you Joan and Ron. As I was finishing this one up, I have to say I am quite pleased. It is "darker" than I usually paint, but I am happy with the sense of depth here...I did love walking in the woods as a kid!
