I thought I would try a little something different; growing up in New England, this scene is unfamiliar but very intruquing to me. Size 9x10 on Fabriano.

Thanks Neil. Well, I've not yet experienced a 'deserted' type of place, except for an old chicken coop that I used to frequent as a kid. The open spaces surrounding this one are not familiar to me, since New Enland is so hilly and full of trees. I imagine this house to be quiet and the surrounding grasses to be vast....
This is definitely a bit different. I like the colors and that sense of solitude. Nice work, Holly!
