I am continuously drawn to snow and the great purple shadows...as many of my earlier painting show. I thought the dramatic lines of the shadows here would lend itself well to a large canvas, this one 36x24 (gallery wrapped), and I had fun imagining sledding down the hill (well...minus the trees maybe!)
These 2 wintry ones are lovely with the strong shadows and super trees!!!
