As I continue to paint new materials for Open Studios in October, I find that I'm becoming less intimidated by flowers. This is a GOOD thing, since I've always found florals to be perfect to demonstrate the fluidity of watercolors and allow the paint to do most of the work in implying details. This one is 11x14 on Fabriano paper -
