Technically, I could label all of my sunrise paintings with "surprise" since each morning I am treated to a different beautiful display in the sky. This morning, the blues against the rising orange sun were just perfect....and the deep browns and purples of the sand waiting to be heated looked amazing against the silvery-blue reflections in the water. Size 18x18 acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas.
