The road that connects Wells Beach to Rte 1 is exactly 1 mile long, hence it's name of "Mile Road". As the sun sets back over rte 1, the tide provides a beautiful mirror to reflect the marsh, the lights and most of all, the bold colors of a Maine sunset.
