Thought I'd stick w/the same subject...and was happy to use one of my own (staged) reference photos! Size 11x14 on Fabriano. It actually looks like the lower 3 cherries are trying to launch the big one into the bowl!

ReplyDeleteI must thank you. I've been doing all these 4 x 6 sunset and sunrise postcards for an exchange. As I paint them I keep thinking of you painting your skies and sunsets. I keep saying to myself...Holly would make it darker...and I add another wash. I think it helps a lot.
Thanks Joan...I'm happy watching all of your sunsets..they're really good! yeah, I have a 'bold' thing going on; it's because my first watercolors EVER back in college looked more like colored pencil- I was SO afraid of the paint! Well...afraid no more!
