Even in the fog, a New England salt marsh can have great coloring. Being up and down the east coast, one can always find an inlet with amazingly colored grasses and a smell at high tide that is so refreshing. This one is size 8x10 on Fabriano paper.
Your landscapes always make me want to go the the Cape or Maine. This one is a real beauty! Keep them coming!
ReplyDeleteHi Holly - curious - do you paint from photo refs, and/or do you sometimes paint en plein aire? This one looks like you were sitting in a chair right on that marsh....painting away while the birds chirped. Very nice!!
