Continuing on my theme of doors and windows for Open Studios, I chose this study because I liked the simplicity of the palette and I do like painting doors...wonder what's inside? Size 11x9 on Fabriano paper.

    Beautiful--such clean, cool blues. Doors are such a compelling subject too! I've been wanting to do a series of doors in my town--but, like many of the things I've been wanting to do, haven't started yet! ;-)

    I fell in love with this right away! What a warm welcome to this house. There's something so compelling about painting windows and doors. Oh, also old rusty trucks. Can't resist those!
